Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman. She is the current president as well as the sole owner of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss is a California born Buss grew up in an extremely wealthy family. Jerry Buss was her father. Jerry Buss started out as a realty tycoon, after which he later became the owner of the Lakers. In the event that her parents divorced in 1972, she was convinced that they had abandoned her. At the age of 19, she was employed within the family's company. Then she founded the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. She served as the head of the Great Western Forum before assuming the position of vice-president for the Lakers. Buss took over her share of the Lakers through her father's estate in the year 2013. Five siblings of hers inherited it through a family estate trust.
