Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest of the children of singer Dionne Warswick, and gospel music legend Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew up in a family that was musical. As a child she performed in the New Hope Baptist Church Choir in Newark. At the age of she was 15, Houston had sung professionally as a backing vocalist with her mother on Chaka Khan's 1978 song Im Every Woman. Her mother, Jermaine, and Lou Rawls were a few of the performers she performed with. She was also briefly a model for Seventeen Magazine in 1981. In 1981, she began to work as a vocalist in the New York funk group Material. The band's excellent vocals in this band that attracted the attention of record companies such as Arista. Whitney Houston became the top-selling debut record for an artist in the year. A number of hit singles, such as The Greatest Love of All, Saving My Love For You How Do I know It's Good to Love You as well as The greatest Love of All were released from the album setting her up to smash the Beatles record with seven consecutive US top 10s. Album was sold out in US 3,000,000 copies and then went to 25,000,000 worldwide. The album brought her first of her six Grammy Awards. The Whitney album from 1987, that featured songs like that I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Where Do Broken Hearts Get to continue her popularity. But it came with The Bodyguard of 1992 that turned her into one of the most successful performers in the history of music. The Bodyguard's performance as a film and soundtrack was not well-received but her Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You and The Bodyguard album that accompanied it topped charts across the world for several months. In 1993, it was also that she was married to Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition singer and father of her sole daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. Around this time, her well-documented drug use started and in 1996, the singer used to use drugs every day.
Dana Bash, also known by the name Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American anchorwoman and journalist who works as a political correspondent at CNN. She produced several weekend shows on the network, which include Evans & Novak: Late Edition" and Inside Politics." She worked previously for NBC as well as CBS. Bash is the recipient of numerous awards and honors. Elle magazine once listed her in the Women in Washington Power List. Numerous young journalists admire her for having incredible reporting/anchoring capabilities. Also, she's a lovely father to her son even though she graduated from George Washington University. She has been married twice and currently isn't. Bash is an independent, tough woman. She cherishes her fans.
