Jill AND Mary

Jillian Noel Shennessy born November 25, 1968 in Canada, is a Canadian actress and musician who was honored for her outstanding contribution for American television. She has become famous due to her portrayals in the roles of Claire Kincaid in Law & Order as well as Crossing Jordan. Her acting talents were displayed in the movies RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as along with Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. Through these independently produced films, she showed off co-directing as well as writing skills. Hennessy was first noticed in 1988, alongside her sister as twin call girls in the film Dead Ringers. In the year 1990, she appeared as a guest on Broadway in the role of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Then, she moved to sci-fi, and portrayed the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. She got her big break after the season ended in the form of a role as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. For these roles she was awarded an Emmy Award in 2006 and a Golden Globe Award in 2006 and Emmy Award in 2007. Parker received an award in 2001, the Tony Award as Best Actress in the Broadway show Proof.
