John Denver is a popular performer and songwriter that has touched a lot of people with his songs. Most of his songs are based on Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. was born in Roswell in New Mexico. He was enthralled by Colorado and settled in Aspen. There were many who traveled towards Colorado due to Denver's famous tunes for the state he was raised in. It's hard to think of other performer who embodies Colorado in the same way as John Denver said G. Brown curator of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame. Denver was one of the very first Hall of Fame inductee in 2011. Today, he is seen as a symbol of Colorado by people all over the world.
